The patio at Bruno’s is open and it’s looking better than ever.
We’ve been putting work into the outdoor space and it’s ready to go. There’s something about eating outside on a warm night in Portland that makes everything taste a little better. A plate of linguine with clam sauce, a cold drink, and nowhere you need to be. That’s always been the best version of a night at Bruno’s, and the patio is where it happens.
A Part of Bruno’s Since the Beginning
Outdoor seating has been part of the Bruno’s experience for a long time. Back on India Street, Bobby Napolitano was the first bar owner in Portland to put a patio out back. That was 1985. Since then, the patio has been where regulars settle in on warm nights, where families stretch dinner a little longer, and where friends end up staying later than they planned.
This summer, the space got the attention it deserves. A fresh look that gives the patio new life while keeping the feel that people already know. We’re open out back whenever the weather is right. No set schedule. Just come by and grab a seat when the evening is warm.
The Same Kitchen, Just Outside
The full menu is available on the patio, the same dishes you’d order inside. Calzones, pizza on house made dough with our three cheese blend, chicken parmigiana, meatballs, and everything else the kitchen has been putting out for over 40 years. The tavern side keeps the drinks cold and the screens on, so if there’s a game worth watching, you can catch it from out back too.
Whether you’re coming in for a full dinner, stopping by the tavern after work, or just looking for a relaxed spot to sit outside with good food, the patio is ready for all of it.
