You can never go wrong with spaghetti and meatballs at an Italian restaurant, but sometimes you just want to try a meal that’s a little different. At Bruno’s, our menu features entrees that will please any palate, whether you’re a meat lover, a vegetarian, love a savory dish or want a spicy sauce.
Lasagna Alla Campagnola
Whether you’re a vegetarian or simply want to try a spin on traditional lasagna, our lasagna alla campagnola is a meal for you. “Alla campagnola” means from the countryside, or rustic, but is used also to signify a vegetable-based sauce or dish, related to where vegetables are grown.
At Bruno’s our lasagna alla campagnola is made with spinach pasta, layered with sautéed vegetables and cheese in lieu of the traditional lasagna meats. A béchamel and tomato cream sauce finishes the dish, providing a rich and flavorful meal that fulfills your craving for Italian food.
Streak Pizzaiola
Here’s one for the meat lover – steak pizzaiola is a burst of Mediterranean flavor served over a 10 oz. sirloin. Peppers, red onions, mushrooms and kalamata olives combine to create a bright, fresh topping. Add the tomato sauce and mozzarella to your forkful, and you’ll be enjoying a true taste of Italy.
Served with rigatoni, steak pizzaiola is a filling dish and a delicious departure from your regular order of spaghetti or ravioli.
Veal Marsala Uve Rosso
Veal marsala uve rosso is a unique dish that combines tender veal with a savory sauce – and grapes. “Uve Rosso” translates to red grapes. Though the veal is served over rigatoni, the pasta takes a back seat to the flavors of the meat, fruit and sauce. This dish is the perfect choice when you’re ready to further explore Italian meals.
