The staff here at Bruno’s is a huge part of what makes this restaurant so special. Each month we like to highlight one of our employees, and this month line cook Sean O’Brion is in the spotlight.
Many people at Bruno’s talk about the restaurant as being one big family, but when Sean talks about the Bruno’s family he’s not speaking metaphorically. He’s owner Bob’s nephew and manager Danny’s cousin. Apart from his relatives, Sean has one of the longest histories at Bruno’s of any employee. He started working at the India Street location when he was in school – and he still enjoys coming to work.
The people are what Sean loves most about working at Bruno’s. He says there is a great sense of camaraderie and his co-workers are an exciting group of people. Sean’s also a fan of Bruno’s food. (We would hope so, since he helps cook much of it!). In particular, Sean enjoys the steak and cheese sandwich and the chicken marsala. While he loves eating those meals, his favorite Bruno’s meal to prepare is the steak pizziola.
Thanks for all your hard work, Sean. We’re glad you’ve stuck around all these years!
