We are honored to share that Bruno’s has been voted Gold in the Italian Restaurant category in Best of the 207 for 2025. Best of the 207 is a statewide, community driven recognition program highlighting businesses across Maine, and to be chosen by the people we serve means a great deal to our entire team.
This marks our second consecutive Gold win in 2025 and 2024, following Silver honors in 2023 and 2022. Being recognized four years in a row is something we are truly grateful for. It reflects the loyalty of our guests and the strength of the Portland community that has supported us year after year.
For us, this recognition is about preserving Italian American heritage and the traditions that have shaped Bruno’s from the beginning. It is about serving food made in house, welcoming families and neighbors through our doors, and creating a place where people feel comfortable gathering. Portland has always been home to us, and this award belongs to the community that continues to show up and support local businesses.
The Best of the 207 process begins with nominations from the public and moves into online voting, with results independently tabulated. There are no judges and no special treatment. It is simply Maine residents supporting the places that matter to them. That makes this honor especially meaningful.
